Privacy Policy

JAEKA ("JAEKA," "we," "us," or "our")

Effective date: September 12, 2026 Last updated: September 12, 2026

Please read carefully. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the JAEKA mobile app, the jaeka.ai website, and related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The short version. We collect what the app needs to work: your account details, the content you create and post, and basic technical records. We send your prompts and any photo you attach to our AI provider so it can generate your result — something you agree to by accepting our Terms and using the creation features. We do not sell or share your personal information, we do not run ads, we do not use third-party analytics or tracking technologies, and we do not train AI models on your content. You can delete your account and content from inside the app at any time.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

The business responsible for your personal information is JEACT, based in Connecticut, United States. Reach us about privacy at [email protected].

If you are a California resident, see Section 11.

2. Who can use the Services

The Services are intended for people 16 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. At sign-up we ask you to confirm you meet the minimum age; we do not collect a date of birth. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 16, we will delete it. If you believe someone under 16 has provided us personal information, contact [email protected]. See Section 10 for how we treat information from users under 18.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your phone number, date of birth, precise or GPS location, contacts, or payment card details. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, SDKs, pixels, or third-party analytics to track you, and the app contains no advertising. We do not offer social/third-party login, so no third-party account data reaches us.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. AI generation and our AI provider

JAEKA's creation features are powered by third-party AI models accessed through fal.ai, a US-based AI infrastructure provider.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described here.

7. Your choices and controls

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as needed for the purposes in this Policy — legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety, and enforcement.

Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, comments, messages, and media from the Services immediately. Three things you should know:

  1. Remixes other users created from your posts are their own content and remain on the Services. Because a JAEKA remix generates a new work from your prompt and, in some cases, your media as an input, that new work belongs to the person who made it. See the Remix Licence.
  2. Cached copies of your media may remain briefly on our content delivery network after deletion before they expire or are purged. When we remove content in response to a legal request (such as a copyright or non-consensual-imagery removal), we also purge the delivery network.
  3. Minimal anonymized records — such as generation cost totals used for accounting and abuse prevention — are retained without any link to you.

Backups are retained for a limited period and are overwritten in the normal course.

9. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Your login session is stored encrypted on your device, with the encryption key held in the device's secure keychain. Access to production systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

10. Teens

The Services are for users 16 and older. For users under 18, we limit processing of personal information to what is strictly necessary to provide the Services you have asked for — operating your account and feed, generating the media you request, keeping the platform safe, and meeting our legal obligations. We do not process teens' personal information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or model training, and we do not sell or share it. Parents or guardians with questions may contact [email protected].

11. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), gives you the rights below. In the preceding 12 months we collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3 — identifiers (email, username, IP address); internet or network activity (usage and generation records); and audio, visual, or similar information contained in User Content — for the purposes in Section 4, and disclosed them to the categories of service providers in Section 6.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months, including with respect to anyone under 16.

Subject to legal limits, you have the right to know/access, delete, and correct your personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA for these purposes), and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls in Section 7 or email [email protected]. We will verify your request against the account's email address and may ask for information to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent with proof of authorization.

12. Other US state privacy rights

Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to appeal a refusal. Use the same contact: [email protected]. Because we do not sell personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising, and do not engage in profiling with legal or similarly significant effects, the opt-out rights those laws provide for those activities do not apply to us.

13. Where we operate

The Services are offered in the United States and your information is processed in the United States. If you access the Services from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed in the United States under US law.

The Services may link to third-party sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. If we make material changes we will notify you through the Services or by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
